Conclusion: The study concludes that financial literacy significantly influences the financial performance and retained profits of SMEs operating in the Aligarh lock industry. Respondents with better knowledge of debt management, budgeting, bookkeeping, and banking services demonstrated stronger financial stability and better business management practices. The study further highlights the need for financial literacy programs, government support initiatives, and simplified banking procedures to strengthen financial inclusion among SMEs and workers associated with the lock industry.
