Phase II COBRE in Mesenchymal and Neural Regulation of Metabolic Networks
Description: This application requests Phase II support for a successful COBRE in Mesenchymal and Neural Regulation of Metabolic Networks. Three new project leads study thermogenic adipocytes, gut-bone interactions, and impact of night shift work on metabolic disease in pregnant women. Core facilities provide support for Physiology, Histopathology and Microscopy, and Proteomics and Lipidomics. The goal is to make discoveries that will improve our ability to better treat metabolic diseases such as obesity, osteoporosis and diabetes.
