Cardiovascular Effects of Particles:The Role of Oxidative Stress and Metal Pathw
Description: Project Narrative This project will help identify the mechanisms of the cardiotoxicity of particles, which will help clarify the health effects of particles. In addition, by helping to separate out which effects are due to particles from different sources and with different composition, it will allow for better-targeted public health interventions (e.g. pollution control regulations) which have the greatest potential for reducing the health burden of particles.
