Interdisciplinary Training in Alcohol Research
Description: The purpose of this renewal application is to continue a translational and interdisciplinary training program in alcohol research. This multidisciplinary program provides training in bio-behavioral factors associated within alcohol-use disorders at the pre-doctoral level; graduates of this program are actively involved in research, teaching, publishing articles, and becoming independent researchers in the alcohol field. We aim to advance our program of excellence in translational or interdisciplinary research training because the need for a translational or interdisciplinary program is greater today than ever before, and the proposed continuation of this training program fills a unique niche in alcohol research.
