Summer Research Experience in Neurobiology at the Jackson Laboratory
Description: PROJECT NARRATIVE A trained and diverse biomedical workforce requires the support of comprehensive educational programs, including those designed to expose students to biomedical research, reinforce their intent to graduate with a science degree and prepare them for graduate studies leading to a career in science. The proposed Summer Research Experience in Neurobiology will provide opportunities for students to expand their knowledge, technical skills, scientific thinking, and problem-solving skills while contributing to cutting-edge neurobiology research. Through this experience, students will refine their career goals and aspirations as they increase their self- confidence in and out of the laboratory and grow in their ability to see themselves as researchers.
