Cellular and Molecular Geroscience CoBRE: Phase 2

Description: NARRATIVE The cellular/molecular events that occur within the aging organism contribute to an environment that allows disease to develop - this is the basis of geroscience-related studies and the focus of our application. Our program has had outstanding success, resulting in a return on investment of 181%, and dramatically expanded expertise in Geroscience research at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Our Phase 2 CoBRE program is designed to build on this success and develop a rigorous geroscience research program in Oklahoma.
