Pathological analysys and new therapeutic development for inflammatory bowel diseaseon on the molecular basis of fluctuant activity of zinc-requiring enzyme
Description: 本仮説のProof of conceptが達成、実現されれば、得られうる成果の中で最大のアウトプットは「細胞外ATP代謝の破綻が引き起こす様々な炎症性疾患の根本原因が、亜鉛欠乏症に依る亜鉛要求性酵素の活性低下に基づくものである」と言う炎症性疾患の新しい治療概念や治療分子標的を生み出すものである。3年間で申請した本研究の最終目標は、研究代表者がこれまで探索してきた高活性の亜鉛錯体を用いることで、上記のターゲットバリデーションが正しいかどうかを研究協力者（同研究室の准教授、助教、博士研究員、学生）の協力を得て多方面から詳細に検討し、亜鉛錯体によるIBDの治療戦略が可能かどうかを提案することにある。
