Impaired Gait in Older Adults: Pathologies of Alzheimer's disease and Related Disorders
Description: NARRATIVE Developing a biomarker that can identify older adults at risk for AD dementia is a public health priority. We will determine the pathologic basis for impaired gait in older adults and construct and validate a gait profile biomarker specific for AD pathology. This biomarker has the potential to facilitate treatments which prevent AD dementia and could affect millions of older Americans.
