Kidney Tubular Damage and Dysfunction Identify a Novel Axis of Chronic Kidney Disease

Description: PUBLIC HEALTH RELEVANCE STATEMENT This renewal application proposes to build a Kidney Tubule Health Panel (KTHP) to improve diagnosis, prediction of adverse outcomes, and safe monitoring among persons with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). If successful, we will overcome the limitations of current tests, and we will provide a novel clinical tool that will determine CKD prognosis will guide treatment decisions to improve clinical outcomes.
