Description: PROJECT NARRATIVE The Training Program for Antiretroviral Discovery, Evaluation and Application Research (ADEAR) will provide a rich, dynamic, interactive and supportive environment to train outstanding post-graduate scientists in basic, clinical and translational research that will lead to improved treatment and prevention of HIV/AIDS. This will be accomplished through a collaborative effort between the faculty of the University of Colorado, Colorado State University and the University of Denver. ADEAR will be based at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus but will take advantage of the diverse research training opportunities available in the affiliated institutions to train the next generation of laboratory and clinical scientists to conduct the research needed to end the AIDS epidemic.
