Exploratory research for tendon injury therapy targeting tissue fibrosis and heterotopic ossification
Description: 本研究では腱の退行性変化「変性」と腱損傷における腱修復メカニズムの分子機構解明および修復促進を目指した新規治療の開発に向けて、細胞老化と腱修復時の過度の線維化に注目した。老化細胞は肝臓や肺などの組織で細胞周囲組織の変性、線維化を誘導するが、腱組織での病態は未だ不明である。老化促進マウスによる加齢性腱変性モデルと老化促進マウスおよび野生型マウスの腱損傷モデルを作製して、細胞老化と腱変性・線維化および腱修復時の瘢痕形成について解析を行う。
