Single cell analysis and live imaging of tissue stem cells and cancer initiating cells
Description: Project Narrative Glioblastoma is the most aggressive and common form of primary brain cancer with a median patient survival time of ~ 15 months. Professor Luis Parada at Sloan Kettering Cancer Institute have established the mouse model and faithfully phenocopy the tumor genesis. This proposal will use single cell RNAseq, single cell ATACseq and multi-photon imaging to probe tissue stem cell and cancer initiation cell transcriptional regulation network, heterogeneity and immune privilege.
