Description: Elucidating the cellular and molecular underpinnings of liver injury repair may yield improved cures for liver diseases, which remain a global and national health burden. Pittsburgh Liver Research Center was created to address this issue by providing a group of invested established and early stage investigators an opportunity to interact and collaborate as well as have access to the most advanced scientific core facilities. We believe that PLRC will have a major impact on treatment of liver disease patients by enabling innovative discoveries.
