Preclinical study of a novel alveolar bone regeneration therapy using human dental pulp stem cells derived from elderly patients
Description: 応募者は、中高年者由来ヒト歯髄幹細胞（DPSCs)と生理活性物質を組み合わせ、高効率な骨芽細胞誘導法を開発し、マウス頭頂骨欠損モデルにてその有効性を報告したが、移植細胞の生体内での作用機序および大動物における中高年者由来DPSCs由来骨芽細胞の骨分化誘導能は不明である。本研究では、若年者と中高年者由来DPSCs由来骨芽細胞を免疫不全ミニブタに移植し、生体内での作用を明らかにし、特に骨再生療法の需要の高い中高年者におけるDPSCsによる骨再生医療のための基礎技術を開発し、後の臨床応用へ繋げる。
