Minnesota Obesity Center
Description: RELEVANCE (See instructions): The Minnesota Obesity Center's mission is to find ways to prevent weight gain, obesity and the complications of obesity. Obesity is a major source of illness and death, and is the most important public health problem in the U.S. Despite its prevalence, little is known about effective measures to prevent obesity and its attendant complications. The Center will support work focused on prevention of initial weight gain, prevention of regain after weight loss, and prevention of obesity complications.
