Proteomic aging clock and brain structure, cognitive decline and the risk of Alzheimers Disease and related dementias

Description: PROJECT NARRATIVE Development of blood-based measurement of biological aging will improve our understanding of the role of aging in Alzheimer's disease and Alzheimer's disease-related dementias (AD/ADRD) and subclinical structural brain changes and cognitive decline before the clinical onset of AD/ADRD. Our study will inform on novel strategies for the preclinical screening of AD/ADRD. The accurate assessment of biological aging may help facilitate the development of anti-aging therapies against AD/ADRD.
