CuRE Centre of Research Excellence to prevent and detect curable lung cancer

Description: Our collaborative research team aims to address the critical scientific and clinical gaps to improve patient lung cancer outcomes. Our CRE will focus research on enhancing smoking cessation strategies, increasing access to lung cancer CT screening for priority populations, the feasibility of lung cancer screening in never/light smokers, trialling virtual multidisciplinary team management for suspicious pulmonary nodules, and optimising bronchoscopy techniques to diagnose lung cancer.
