Mechanisms of Ischemic Kidney Injury and Repair
Description: Project Narrative Acute kidney injury (AKI) remains a very important and growing global unmet need with lack of effective therapies. In addition to the adverse effects on patient morbidity and mortality associated with AKI it has long term consequences, leading to chronic kidney disease. Our goal is to understand the mechanisms of kidney injury and repair to be able to develop therapies for patients.
