Preclinical Validation of PPARg Acetylation Inhibitors for Diabetes Prevention and Treatment
Description: PROJECT NARRATIVE This project addresses a major unmet clinical need of a potent and safe insulin sensitizer to tackle the increased prevalence of type 2 diabetes. Accomplishing this project will identify first-in-class PPARγ acetylation inhibitors that leverage the insulin-sensitizing properties and improved safety profiles on body weight, heart, bone, and fluid balance for the prevention and better treatment of diabetes.
