A Blended InTervention for frail Elderly (BITE-IT)- The development and evaluation of a blended physical activity and nutrition intervention for frail older adults
Description: Dietitians, physical- and exercise therapists play a crucial role in the support and self-management of frail elderly after discharge from a GRZ-institution, but indicate that they lack tools to provide intensive guidance. Blended care, in which technology and physical sessions are combined, seems very promising. Currently, there is no valid blended diet and exercise intervention targeting recovering older adults. Our research group aims to develop a blended approach, in which the necessary knowledge is created.
