The purpose of Reccan´s project is to conduct clinical studies to collect data and insights about Reccan Immunoassay, a blood test for early detection of pancreatic cancer in at-risk patients. This is with the goal of being able to offer healthcare a simple test that can detect cancer at an early stage when it can be cured.

The clinical activities planned in the project will provide data and insights that will support the inclusion of the test in treatment guidelines and to reach cost coverage for the test in healthcare in Europe. The overall goal is to increase survival for people with pancreatic cancer by offering a test that can detect the cancer at an early stage, which is currently lacking on the market.
