WormBase: a core data resource for C. elegans and other nematodes

Description: Project Narrative WormBase is an international consortium of biologists and computer scientists providing the research community with accurate, current, accessible information concerning the genetics, genomics and biology of C. elegans and related nematodes. Using a combination of expert curation, machine learning, and AI-enhanced community curation, we will integrate information about the C. elegans genome and sequence features, gene function, expression and interaction, and human disease models. We will transition to using the software infrastructure of the Alliance of Genome Resources for sustainability and economies of scale.
