ECM as a responder and driver of tissue aging.
Description: To find novel ways to slow down or reverse the aging process, an understanding of tissue aging is required. Tissues have both cells and an extracellular matrix (ECM). To understand if cell aging drives ECM aging, or vice versa, I will put young or old cells in old or young ECM and assess the change.
