Effect of traditional herbal medicine on sarcopenia
Description: Loss of skeletal muscle mass and function occurs with aging. In this study, we aimed to investigate whether administration of traditional herbal medicine traditional herbal medicine protects against sarcopenia. Two models, downhill running-induced muscle damage and muscle atrophy induced by cast immobilization, were used to determine effect of traditional herbal medicine traditional herbal medicine on muscle damage/regeneration and muscle atrophy.
