Investigation into Heart Aging
Description: PUBLIC HEALTH RELEVANCE: Heart function declines in the aged population. Completion of the project may offer a new therapeutic approach for heart aging and disease, and the finding will benefit the US population which has a high prevalence of heart disease. The significance of the proposed research is high especially because our population continues to age.
