Research Training in Anesthesia
Description: This proposed renewal of our post-doctoral training grant in anesthesiology will prepare young physician scientists to become independent researchers in areas of medical science that are pertinent to the practice of anesthesiology and perioperative medicine. Areas of scientific focus include Neurobiology, Vascular Biology, Immunology, Biomechanical Engineering, and Clinical Research. Across all of these areas, our foundational mission is to train future independent scientists who will expand and apply knowledge of anesthesiology that is fully aligned with all NIH guidance toward advancing science, health, and well-being.
