Asian Resource Centers for Minority Aging Research (RCMAR)
Description: Project Narrative: Overall RCMAR Despite the growth of US Asian populations, there are vast gaps in our knowledge regarding the social and cultural contributors to and consequences of trauma among Asian older adults, who are predominantly immigrants. In the Chicago Asian RCMAR, we will establish 4 complementary cores to achieve the mission of the Center, to improve Asian American older adult health through spawning research and a new cohort of diverse scientists that focus on this population.
