Cross-Disciplinary Neural Engineering (CDNE) Training Program
Description: Project Narrative There is a need in the science and medical health fields associated with brain for expert contributions from engineering, sciences and mathematics in order to make lasting advances. The proposed Cross Disciplinary Neural Engineering (CDNE) training program will train future leaders in the field of neural engineering able to work across the disciplinary boundaries of engineering, sciences, mathematics, and neurosciences and human brain health. CDNE trainees will be able to communicate and understand deeply the needs and science of their collaborators, and thereby able to produce lasting advances in both basic neurosciences and the treatment of human brain health.
