Perimenopause in Brain Aging and Alzheimer's Disease
Description: Narrative Worldwide women have a 2-fold greater risk for developing Alzheimer’s disease. The mission of the Perimenopause in Brain Aging and Alzheimer’s Disease Program Project is to discover why women are at greater risk for Alzheimer’s and based on that knowledge, create therapeutic strategies to prevent or delay development of Alzheimer’s disease. Further, our strategy provides a platform for a precision medicine approach to treating Alzheimer’s in both women and men.
