Description: Alzheimer’s disease is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder without an effective cure. Neuronal activity disruptions contribute to Alzheimer’s disease etiology and its progression. We will investigate whether macroglia play a causal role in circuit disruptions and the overall disease process.
