Drug Delivery and Biomimetic Approaches for Optimal Stem Cell Therapy

Description: PROJECT NARRATIVE Stem cell therapy is a promising strategy to tissue regeneration. However, suboptimal stem cell homing to the injured tissue hampers the efficiency and outcome of cell therapy. In the proposed study we employ biomimetic and drug delivery principles to achieve targeted delivery and sustained release of stem cell factors in the injured tissue.
