Patterns of biological, cognitive, and physical aging in cancer survivors and controls and the role of sleep health: Relevance for Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias
Description: Project Narrative We use the interface of aging and breast cancer in older women to inform geroscience and Alzheimer’s disease- related dementias (ADRD). We propose to use data from our older breast cancer survivors and non-cancer controls to elucidate the role of biological aging in cognitive and physical declines, and examine the role of sleep in these relationships. This clinical translational project addresses key NIA priority areas and will provide important data to inform future ADRD studies and interventions to improve health and resilience of our aging population.
