Description: Despite the rapidly growing US Asian population, there are vast gaps in translational research on comorbid cardiometabolic and mental health outcomes. In the Rutgers-NYU Center for Asian Health Promotion and Excellence, we will establish three complementary cores and two research projects to achieve the mission of the center: to improve cardiometabolic and mental health of US Asians through a robust research infrastructure and resource structure and developing the next generation of scientists focused on these health disparity issues.
