Unraveling the intersection of synaptic biology, lifestyle, and cognitive resilience

Description: PROJECT NARRATIVE The overarching goal of this proposal is to better understand the biological and behavioral processes that support sustained cognitive resilience to brain aging. Successful completion of our collaborative project will more precisely determine the role of synaptic integrity and physical activity as candidate therapeutic targets to help prevent and slow Alzheimer's disease and related dementias (ADRD).
