A platform for in vivo lifelong tracking of aging genes and lifespan prediction under precise environments in C. elegans.
Description: PROJECT NARRATIVE The proposed work will lead to findings that quantitatively correlate the spatiotemporal activity of the main regulators of key aging pathways with lifespan, thus providing a framework to address questions about age- associated diseases. This research will contribute to our fundamental understanding of how environmental factors drive molecular activity to determine aging and longevity, by integrating biomolecular state information in a spatiotemporal fashion. The findings obtained from this work will be highly relevant to age-associated diseases, as it will be foundational work to understand how aging can be minimized through environmental and genetic factors,
