Historia y bemoles del movimiento del diseño inteligente
Year: 2007
Type: article
Abstract: The Intelligent Design Movement has caught the interest of the press. Furthermore, it has done the same with remarkable scientists and philosophers of science. Lately, even prestigious journals had dedicated many pages to assess its writ- ings (and also the ones of their critics) and to review its claims. This work leaves aside topics such as the relationship between science and religion, and problems regarding legal-political-institutional matters. Instead, it only focus on (1) to present a brief history of the movement; (2) to identify fallacies in some of its claims; and (3) to evaluate the soundness of taking the (so-called) irreducible complexity features in order to infer intelligent design.
