Small Spacecraft Bus Development in the New Millennium

Abstract: Satellite development in the New Millennium will be characterized by shrinking schedules at lower cost with greater performance required. These characteristics will require, in response, innovative Program Management Styles. Organizational structures will have to be modified, roles and responsibilities of the technical leads will have to be reinvented, and relationships between the customer and suppliers will have to be fostered to maximize flexibility in the development of satellites in the New Millennium.
