Abstract: Audio recording and transcript of William Little's 1979 interview with Myrtle Bergren for the Coal Tyee History Project. Little discusses coal mining in England and on Vancouver Island. He talks about mining equipment and conditions and he also shares the story of how his brother was killed in an accident in a mine in England. Little also speaks about accidents in the Reserve Mine, including one he personally experienced. He concludes the interview by talking about his understanding of how women worked in the mining industry.
