Abstract: This work consists of a study of the picture Tree (La Courte Echelle) wich was added to Dr. Corman's Adventures of Black Leg Test in 1978, with the intention of increasing the number of pictures in which the father- figure is present, but about wich picture no published data exists. In a sample of 85 subjects, the themes of the picture are analysed, as well as the preferences identification and especially its apperceptive particularities in terms of the sex variable. The results support the author's expectations, since Tree contributes to the knowledge of the role of the paternal figure within the family, by means of the Black Leg Test.
