Abstract: Breast cancer frequently metastasizes to bone, lung, liver, and brain, which is the major cause of morbidity and mortality associated with the disease [ 1 ]. The propensity with which breast cancer associates with certain tissue types in advanced stages of malignancy suggests a molecular basis for this attraction, but the mechanism remains unknown.
