Abstract: Depression is one of the most widespread conditions nowadays; it affects adults as well as young people who feel extremely overwhelmed by familiar, social and their own expectations, since these make them face aggressive competitiveness challenges. The main purpose of this paper is enquiring into the relationship between depression and anxiety. Thus partial results, taken from “Depression and anxiety in the United States and Mexico: joining investigations on mental health among cultures”, are presented. This project was developed by the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico and University of North Texas.
