Abstract: The Tomayoc ceramics In this paper, I present a ceramic assemblage from a rock shelter at the Jujuy Puna, north west Argentina, dated between 1000 b. C. to 1400 A. D. Three occupations with early ceramics are highlighted, all dated before the Christian era. Excavated materials come from a décapage of ample surfaces and the information presented here is complementary to that in Lavallée el al., 1997, in this same bulletin. Contextual data includes exhaustive excavation studies, sediments, spatial analysis, hearths, fauna, lithic materials and 25 radiocarbon dates.
