Abstract: This interview with Italian photographer Eva Frapiccini explores her research and practice for the work Muri di piombo (Walls of lead) between 2003-2006. During this time she researched homicides committed during the anni di piombo (years of lead) in Italy 1976-1982. Frapiccini photographed crime scenes in the same month and at the same time of day as the original violence, exhibiting the resulting images with press reports about the crime.
