Abstract: VIII pointed out that men-masculine individuals showed restrictive emotionality, difficulty identifying feelings, high need for social desirability, and difficulty communicating emotions to others.Findings suggest important implications for socialization practices and the kinds of communicative practices afforded to masculine and feminine individuals from an early age.Implications and applications to future research based on the present variables of interest are also discussed.
