Preliminary X-ray Study of Rabbit Muscle Pyruvate Kinase

Abstract: An x-ray crystallographic study has shown the space group of pyruvate kinase to be P6122, a = 187.2 A and c = 170.0 A, with one-half of the tetrameric molecule in the asymmetric unit. This suggests that the molecule is composed of a pair of active dimers.
