Abstract: In the context of the workplace there are certain transversal competencies needed to perform any task, among them information literacy. Information professionals must assume the responsibility of designing the training activities in this area. To achieve this objective, it is necessary to introduce some elements related to professional competence management and, in particular, to information literacy in the workplace.
