Abstract: This study aims to identify the reality of the Quality Management System in Qassim University through faculty and academic leaders’s opinions. To achieve this goal, the researcher addressed the reality of programs and mechanisms that university implemented to reach the quilty from the theoretical framework. Subsequently, the researcher prepered a field study and distributed to 248 of the respondents, the main results: the quality standards was high regarding to the institutional context, then followed in-class by education & learning, then scientific research and finally community service. The study also noted some of obstacles that limit the effectiveness of institutional performance, and the researcher suggest a range of mechanisms to get rid of them through steps, first the continuity in the activation of the current quality, second increase the transparency in the aspects that employees interest in, finally taking experiences form other successful universities. Inculclusion, the study proposed many suggestions, includes doing field studies in human resourses and information systems, and studies in the partnership with the productive sectors.
