Abstract: SUMMARYThe purpose of this paper is to present to Scandinavian readers a survey of Rogers' contribution to psychology based upon several years of first-hand co-operation with him. The paper describes his career and most significant books, his present therapeutic orientation, his theory of personality, and some selected research findings.
