The True Identity of Australian Identity Theft Offences: A Measured Response or an Unjustified Status Offence?
Year: 2010
Type: preprint
Abstract: The concept of identity theft and identity crime and the differences in the nature of digital crime as well as specific approaches in Australian identity theft law are discussed. Much more attention needs to be given to a systematic attempt to properly describe the activities that need to be prohibited to prevent identity crimes.
