Chapters included are: Teaching as a research-based profession: possibilities and prospects / David H. Hargreaves; Educational research and teaching: a response to David Hargreaves' TTA Lecture / Martyn Hammersley; In defence of research for evidence-based teaching: a rejoinder to Martyn Hammersley / David H.
